ADP III POST OCTOBER 22,2010I loved this weeks lectures because it was so much different than the previous lessons we have been covering. I liked that we got to learn about Professor Trumpeys artwork and really get a better feel for who he is on a more personal level, this way we can better relate to how he teaches us because he has a very unique style. I loved seeing his detailed drawings of animals, they were very beautiful, and quite different than what I pictured his artwork looking like. I also really enjoyed seeing his house. It is truly amazing. The way he has built this sustainable living place with utilizing techniques that are environmentally friendly, yet still making the house look gorgeous. I also loved the video that we watched on Monday. I had already seen it in one of my other classes, but I even enjoyed it a second time. I love seeing this kind of photography work because it really provides me with inspiration for my personal photo work. I loved the opening scene, I think it confuses people, yet provides people with a truth of the factory life that no one really sees besides those who work there. It doesn’t say this in the movie, but I read that the opening scene was filmed all in one shot on a moving tripod, so that whole opening scene is actually the amount of time it takes to get across the whole factory. I think the way that Edward Burtynsky’s photographs project this landscape that is so unlike the natural landscape first created on this earth is beautiful. He takes something that would be seen as sort of grotesque and turns it into something glorious in the masses. Even the opening scene where the factory workers come outside in their yellow uniforms, which is really nothing but an everyday work routine for these people, is seen as this magnificently colored picture with these strange patterns of people forming a “landscape.” This week was my favorite by far out of all of the other lectures, I loved the movie and also really enjoyed Wednesday’s lecture.

I'd say that wasn't sportswear. I can't see how that outfit relates to any sport. It's the sort of thing you would wear on a sunny day. I can't say if your company would allow it or not.

The whole concept seems patronising to me. It's like allowing pupil's to wear their own clothes on the last day of a school term. Your company thinks of you as children.

Couple of points:

1) As sentiment improves/interest rates rise where will the money go that's coming out of bond funds? I'd think alot into stocks as many will have courage to be greedy in search of some return.

2) I don't get the argument that no economy does good unless they have a strong currency. Thats not true for China. Also, thats same thing as saying the lakers in their yellow uniforms have won more championships than any other, thus all NBA teams should change their colors accordingly.

3) Weak dollar + cheap natural gas is a HUGE advantage to US petrochemical companies that can now make exports

As part of your processing you will see an optometrist and if they feel you have a medical need to wear sunglasses they will give the the paperwork ("profile") to allow you to wear sunglasses and will also issue you prescription sunglasses. Bring yours, you'll be able to wear them until you get the government issue glasses.

Be careful about assuming Regulations apply equally to a training environment. I'm sure you realize that BCT is significantly more restrictive than the Army at large.

I'm embarrassed to support the same club as these fucknuts. Racism has no place in life, much less in a game. That said, it's entirely possible that the bananas are in reference to the bright yellow uniforms Columbus wears. The Crew's play-by-play guy, Dwight Burgess, has called them the Banana Kits for years.I'm not condoning the actions of racist pieces of shit, because it clearly happened and it's absolutely 100% not okay. I'm just saying that there's a plausible explanation for the bananas. They're still fucktards though.
