The scientific proof that medical fabrics such as lab coats and scrubs can carry bacteria is overwhelming. I had a patient die of a hospital acquired infection 2 yrs ago and I decided to try to make a difference. I launched a self funded company one month ago http://www.Docfroc.com that sells antibacterial lab coats and scrubs. Our products have a silver impregnated coating that kills all the nasty bugs – MRSA, VRE, CDIFF, KLEBSIELLA etc – all this testing was done by an indep lab and is on our website. It is remarkable that most hospitals I present my product to only care about cost – they just want the lowest priced foreign made product that is not antibacterial. My product is made in the U.S.A. and after only one month we have given 4 U.S. citizens jobs – my margin is very small – I am not selling this product to quit practicing medicine – I am doing it because it is the right thing to do – we can wash our hands all day long but it is not practical to change our scrubs and lab coat after every patient encounter. If you come in for hip surgery and your nurse or doc is also taking care of a nursing home patient with pneumonia your doc or nurse may wash their hands after caring for that nursing home patient but they cannot change their clothes before coming in to your room and if bacteria gets on them and then gets on you…….why is it such a mystery when you get an MRSA wound infection 10 days later…..As a patient or payor would prefer a hospital that uses standard fabrics that we know can transmit bacteria or would you select a hospital that uses antibacterial clothing?
I am so sorry you feel so low. I know this is not much but here is a hug for you {{{Hug}}} !
Perhaps rethinking your responsibilities as something positive and not a burden.
Like your family. Take joy in the fact that you can do things for them. You can cook, which means you can read, and read a recipe, so you know math and math equations and they may need you. You have a lot, that some people want.
It sounds like you have younger females, teach them to be responsible also. Let them do the cooking at least one night a week per female. (Allow them to choose the meal and help you shop for it.) The males, let them learn how to wash and dry and fold the laundry. If they rebel, then let their clothes remain dirty, until they wash, dry and fold them themselves.
If they do the laundry, let them do it their way, and do not criticize them. If you have something that can be ruined easily, then keep it separate from the regular laundry and wash that yourself.
Tell the family that their criticism is not fair when you do as much as you do. And if they want you to do less, it will be what you are doing for them.
As for you not thinking you will be around much longer. Get a check up immediately. I say that for two reasons.
First, if your mind is playing a game, you will find out nothing is wrong.
And second, if your mind is warning you something is wrong, you will find out and get it taken care of.
And then talk to those Jehovah's Witnesses, they can tell you about your future. They are a pretty nice bunch too. They talked to me, and now I have a hope for the future.
And finally, get that dress, wear it! If you wear it once, then you have beaten those thoughts!
Wear it for anything, and get a photo of you in it also.
I've heard that debate and I don't buy it. Yes, they're both singing evil scientists who wear lab coats and plot to take over the world. That's as far as it goes, and at worst it's an odd coincidence. If we took lab coats out of the equation, then Dr. Steel & Dr. Horrible both owe a tip of the hat to Frank N Furter, after all. Whatever the reason, I think it's kind of silly to disparage Whedon for the whole thing.

Who cares? He's a great campaign manager.
Lab coats, business suits, t-shirts and jeans, medical scrubs and now military uniforms! is truly a venue for all.
Er/Sie trägt einen weissen Kittel.
Use sie if you want "she" and er if you want "he". (you probably already know this, just posting for clarification)
"OK, you all wear your lab coats so the dumb people see doctors "like" my plan, OK?"
How staged can it get? Do they think Americans are that dumb?
Oh wait, over half of us voted him into office, so, yes.
Only 12 and already imposing his religion that has caused genocide and murder on to people. What a trooper!
Evolution has never happened in recorded history. If it had the question would be answered so it's most likely wrong.
