lab coat w/ longer sleeves?
I am doing a lot of work with acids as of late. I find that my arms are a bit too long and the extra material hangs low enough off my arm to disturb the experiment. Thus I have to roll up the sleeves, thereby exposing my lower arm. Any ideas for a solution? I have long enough limbs that most shirts/coats are a bit short in the arm.

The common laboratory chemicals which are harmful and we use frequently are HCl, sulphuric acid, nitric acid, glacial acetic acid, benzene, caustic alkalis and thiosulphate. Gaseous ammonia, chlorine are also hazardous. You may find that HNO3 causes damage to clothes and fibres by burning them out. Thiosulphate also damages, paper, cellulosic fibres etc. Enzyme solutions are harmful to body. KOH, NaOH damage skin with irritation. Higher concentration of alkalis are very dangerous in this respect. Personal carefulness avoids many accidental damage. Most of the incidents happen when we remain careless in the laboratory and in a hurry to complete the experiment. Slow but steady work with a careful eye can avoid many such happenings. Do not pipette out chemicals by mouth, remain cautious while diluting acids, etc. Read the instruction on the container of the chemical, whether hazardous or not. It is better not to carry out experiments at all than doing it in a hurry and in a wrong way. Best of luck.

I am not sure if it is the ignorance or the hate on this thread that is more horrifying. As someone from the cultures being erroneously commented on and judged on this thread, let me clarify:
It depends on the condition she is in , If she is in poor condition or on a poor quality food it could take 3 or 4 months . Put her on a premium food with high protein , and supplement her with omega 3 and 6 or cod liver oil. and powdered kelp . this will help her
PS I have never had a dog blow her coat with a litter of pups .
They only blow their coat if they are not getting proper nutrition while nursing.
Both milk and hair are made of protein , If the dog is not getting the right nutrition while nursing the body will quit wasting the bodies nutrition on hair and put it towards the milk for the puppies
