I'm attending a 'Scrubs party', any suggestions?


Dress code is scrubs or lab coat. I want to look sexy without looking trashy (there will also be an auction of people). I'v a short lab coat that just covers my butt (my scrubs are anyth but sexy) & white panty hose with the adhesive band that stops just beneath the lab coat, but the lab coat is not fitting enough around my waist & i think it's a bit too short. I dunno what underwear to put on & what accessories to wear with it (ie besides my stethoscope). Also, I would greatly appreciate any ideas on make-up colours.

well you are saying the lab coat isnt fitted round the waist. so get a nice belt and have it round.

    YEAH!!! Fellow nerd, I salute you for posting this! It brought back memories of my lab time, which I am once again thankful is over. I loved it while I was there but, man it is so much more fun being a statistics dork. I do miss the multipippetter. I remember being so scared of that the first time I used it. I always felt smart wearing the lab coat (not that I ever did that) and gloves though. Now I just stare at spreadsheets and write code. Ugh.

    I think that really depends on the person wearing them and the other person or party. I think for some it would have a negative connotation because this is a strange person you don't know who is examining you and you really don't like it. But on the flip side I would say that for some it provides a sense of stability, safety, and well being. I know that if I woke up in a hospital bed I would want to see my doctor in a white lab coat instead of overalls and a flannel shirt.
