   Reading as an acquired taste is an alien concept to me. lol I think I came out of the womb reading the name tags on the nurses scrubs. I do now it’s not that way for many and think that ANY reading is better than none so even graphic novels/comics are good. What about magazines too, like Mad or Cracked? Many people have unexpectedly, even unwillingly, gone from reading Archie Comics to finding themselves enjoying Lonesome Dove or American Gods.

   I’m having a hard time finding a picture of Freeman in the Black Mesa labcoat outfit. If is what you’re talking about, it’s just a matter of buying supplies. Hit up amazon.com for all that stuff. If you have to make the tie, (which you shouldn’t have to. It’s pretty basic), use fabric paint so it’ll last. Other cosplayers have done an outfit more like and if that’s more what you want, the same thing goes. Amazon.com for the lab clothes, Macy’s for the tie , Goodwill for the khakis and shoes, and Office Max/Staples for the name tag. You can use puffpaint for the emblem if you can’t buy a patch online if you want a 3d look otherwise normal paint will work. In a pinch, like you can’t wait for delivery of the labcoat, look at specialty stores like Life Uniform. That store sells nurses scrubs, stethoscopes, etc. They might sell doctors’/pharmacists’ coats. I would call and double check if those stores carry labcoats in advance. That way if the HEV suit doesn’t work out you know what to do. Then again you can always sew a labcoat. I can’t find reference for the denim uniform so I can’t give you help with that. Sorry. Hope that’s helpful.

   Heartattackgrill-Arizona. Food served in nurses uniform to people in scrubs. People above 158kg will be served free junk food. *sigh*
