The term 'blowing coat' is generally used on breeds other than smooth-coated ones. For example, the northern breeds blow coat twice a year in spring and fall, it's when they shed the most. Belgian and German shepherds blow coat twice a year, shedding out a lot of their undercoat. Dogs are blowing coat when they change from puppy to adult coat

Nadav G THE DEAD ZONE Stephen KingPrompt three. If I was going to make a movie of The Dead Zone by Stephen King I would use dark lighting, 1970’s style costumes, music that was popular in the 70’s, and an ominous and scary score. The book takes place in various small towns in Maine from 1970 to 1975. Maine is very far north and so in the fall and winter it is very cold and wet there. Many of the scenes from the novel are in these times and so the author gives descriptions of the poor weather. Music from bands such as the Doors, the Who, and the Velvet Underground would work well because those bands were from that era and all have music that can be very intense and also very light and fun, fitting the range of moods in the story. This book is a dark science fiction horror book so an eerie and suspenseful score composed on classical instruments would best capture the mood of the book. I would film this movie in Maine and find small towns with large wooded areas and creeks by them. This book takes place over a range of many different seasons so I would also want a filming location somewhere warmer as well. I would use filming techniques commonly used in older movies from the 70’s and 80’s to make it feel like it is back in that time period. The city where much of the action takes place, Cleaves Mills, is described to have “hurrying after show crowds, bustling taxis, neon signs,” (page 13). For this city I would want a city that is large enough to have a nice sized downtown area, but that is not huge and still somewhat isolated. All the scenes in winter would show a snow and ice covered landscape, because activities in the book include ice skating on a frozen lake. In most scenes it would be raining, snowing, or hailing. The weather is very normal to all the characters. Costumes would be things like plain colored Vans or Keds, knit sweaters, knee-length skirts, and bell-bottom slacks. These styles are ones that I know were popular in the time period of this book and would just look like casual dress. There would also be scrubs, lab coats, and white uniform dresses for the hospital staff. In the cities I would place ads for products that were being advertised 40 years ago. This setting would be very fun to recreate on film because I would get to work with the urban city and the vast wilderness.

Many gay people are nice. A person's sexual orientation doesn't have anything to do with whether they're nice or not.

<a class="watch-comment-atlink" First off most KF guys are oriental. The none oriental guys are mostly frauds that operate fake ass storefront Shaolin temples. Secondly, most orientals can't fight worth shit! But I'll give the few good oriental fighters that are out there the credit they deserve. Secondly, every stand up style has gotten it's ass kicked and been proven ineffective against the ground. So why single out kung fu! Even the so-called mighty Mauy Thai got owned in the early days! So why pick on KF?

Need is the mother of invention. The concept is what is important. The execution, well, sometimes that doesn't materialize quite as expected. But if it works for the individual and it is safe, then that is okay too.

Rednecks in lab coats - hah! that is funny. Research scientists come in all sorts of colors, shapes, and sizes. A smorgasbord. Just like the megabox of crayons.

Hello folks!Glad to see you're having fun and learning a lot! Also glad to note how you've noticed that science is so much more than what you have been and are currently being exposed to.Just a note though. All research and tertiary education laboratories in Singapore also make it compulsory to wear lab coats and gloves. You can even be posted on "Walls of Shame" for non-compliance. It's the secondary and junior college labs that lack these for regular practicals. Maybe we'll look into implementing that in future. :)Continue to learn and grow folks!Mr Ting
