Coat Color in labs is determined by 2 genes, E-B-=black and E-bb = chocolate, and yellow is produced by the presence of a recessive epistatic gene e
a. what is the probability of having a chocolate pup in a litter from a chocolate (Eebb) and a black lab (EeBb)?
b. in this same litter, what is the chance of having 2 yellow puppies
do a punnett square.

"? I was asking about color genetics. And your failure to grasp the genetics behind color coat inheritance is frightening to say the least.
Doesn't it terrify you to know the things that kids aren't learning in school? We all know it was taught, but the child's choice to not learn it is amazing to me.

The site is incredibly slow to load on my computer, so i will find a secondary one for you. It all comes down to the specifics of the parents and what genes they carry, yes, just like in humans. A black lab can carry a chocolate and yellow gene and when you breed a Black Lab with a yellow gene to another Black Lab with a yellow gene, 25% of the offspring will be yellow!
