Skinners Field & Trial VERSUS Arden Grange Lamb - Anyone have an educated opinion which for a Labrador?
It is for my very active 3-4 year old (small) Labrador male.
I currently use Arden Grange & am very satisfied with quality-price I get from it. I've always used it since he was 1 with no health/fitness problems, although I would like his coat to be softer - it's shiny but quite wirey - I've felt other lab's and their hairs are finer & soft. I know that's not a real reason to look for another food but I did notice Skinners seems to be very similar and slightly cheaper.
It is Skinners Field and Trial Superior in particular with higher protein and fat than the Arden Grange:

I have never heard of that food sorry, but I can tell you your dog has a correct coat... you don't want to change it!
In saying that, food will not change coat texture... better quality foods can add a healthy shine to the coat but not change texture.

Very well said. If they want to teach ID, teach it in philosophy class, and point out that it is mostly a metaphysical (and not scientific) argument for God. It's Paley's watchmaker argument, in cheap lab coats.
